An update from Shawn's family

Shawn is recovering — and he's not doing it alone.

On August 18, 2026, Shawn Bell was seriously injured in a car accident in Santee, California. This page is here to keep the people who love him in the loop, and to make it easy to help.

Shawn has been through several surgeries already, and he's now at the start of a long recovery. It's early, and honestly there's a lot the family still doesn't know — how long it will take, what the road back looks like, what he'll need month to month. What we do know is that he has people in his corner, and that's already made a real difference.

We'll use this page to share updates as there's real news to share. For now, the most helpful thing is simply support — for Shawn, and for the people caring for him.
